KUALA LUMPUR - Former Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli has described his relationship with party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as "strictly professional" and a good "colleague".
Talking to Sinar Daily, the former Pandan MP said his working relationship with Anwar was no different from his working relationship with other politicians such as Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar.
"I tend to limit my communication with them because you don’t spend too much time chatting with your colleagues beyond work,” he said.

However, due to party elections in May, he is "keeping a distance” for now. "But we (Anwar and Rafizi) do keep in touch and exchange messages.
"It’s not professional at all if you kind of put him on the spot to give signals or to just lend support,” the current PKR vice president added.
It's best, he said for Anwar to allow the democratic process to take place as party members get ready for PKR elections.
