MARANG - Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang is expected to meet Pejuang chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Moahamad.
Abdul Hadi told media members after his weekly dhuha lecture at the Rusila mosque here this morning.
"A meeting (with Dr Mahathir) will be arranged," he said briefly.
He said Pas was informed of the meeting between Dr Mahathir and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
"Yes (Pas) was informed (regarding the meeting between Muhyiddin and Dr Mahathir).
"Yes, we are ready to cooperate with anyone. It will be arranged (meeting with Tun Mahathir) insyaAllah.
"We are ready to meet everyone to unite the ummah," he said.
Abdul Hadi also reiterated Pas' stance on cooperation via the Muafakat Nasional (MN) movement.
"We are in touch with all parties and we are open in our efforts to unite Muslims and the plural society.
"Pas is a strong party, MN is still alive.
"MN is not limited to only two parties and it is necessary for them to accept the ummah unity policy brought by Pas," he said.
On Wednesday, Pejuang president Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir revealed that Muhyiddin had met with Dr Mahathir two weeks ago where they discussed about political parties and coalitions for the 15th General Election.
