Hasni had said the polls were crucial to form a stable and strong government to allow rapid economic growth and foreign investments.

After tonight’s win, Johor voters will not wait for the promised development to be implemented immediately.

Hasni sought the dissolve the state assembly despite holding a one-seat majority, following the death of former mentri besar Datuk Osman Sapian of Bersatu.

BN has also promised rapid growth after a two-year pandemic lockdown.

A fractured opposition also saw Umno warlords taking the opportunity to work their way up to entice voters of growth and economic reforms.
