Shah Alam - With less than 50 percent voter turnout in Johor polls, the Undi18 group are encouraging first-time voters to vote, using the hashtag of #PRNJohor2022.
Tweeter handler, Acapwho wrote: "To all Johoreans, please fulfill your responsibilities and increase voter turnout today at #PRNJohor2022. It's a historic day for everyone especially those who are from 18-20, this is your first experience in the election, do not lose this chance!”
Another tweeter, Shaarveen UthayaKumar asked Johorians to vote as every vote counts.
Meanwhile, Daniel Dinesh Thomas told first-time youths: "If you are 18 & above and in Johor, please cast your vote by 6 pm today. Every vote & voice counts,”
Minister Saifuddin Abdullah shared a photo of a disabled person, Loh Chuan Chew,19, excited for voting the first time at SJKC Ching Chiang in the Layang-Layang state assembly.
Other twitter handles under the name of HenZ, Fittri and Fatinnizzxti also expressed excitement over the social media, uploading photos of polling centres.
