SHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional (PN) has urged its Johoreans not to vote for Barisan Nasional (BN) today for the Johor state election.
Selangor PN liaison secretary Hilman Idham said those who vote for BN means they agree to let the court cluster politicians free.
"We know why the Johor state election was done. Because they want to have an election before the court clusters politicians are convicted.
"This is so their (Umno) president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi can become prime minister and help the other court clusters.
"That is why PN did the anti-corruption pledge. We all know the people want leaders or a government that is full of integrity. No one wants a leader who is dishonest or corrupted because only with integrity can the country prosper and develop.

However, Hilman said integrity alone was not enough to govern a state even more so a country thus why PN promises a government that is effective in helping and defending the people.
The Gombak Setia assemblyman said the people not only faced a health crisis amidst the Covid-19 pandemic but financial and economical problems.
The people need an effective government, he said, one that is focused on helping them and listening to their needs.
