SEGAMAT - BN candidate for Kemelah state seat, N. Saraswati has promised 'love' to her voters and bring in development to the community.
Her ears have been on the ground listening to the issues faced by them and hope she hopes she is voted in on March 12 to help them solve their issues.
She hopes to resolve women's issues as they need funding and assistance to boost their livelihoods, further stating majority of her voters are Malays and they need 'love' to help them improve living standards. She said this in an interview with Astro AWANI.
The mother of two is in a four-cornered fight with the incumbent, Dr Sulaiman Mohd Nor (PH), Normala Sudirman (PN) and Norizan Sahardin (Pejuang).
In GE14, Sulaiman won the seat with a majority of 2,355 defeating the BN candidate through a two-cornered contest.
In the meantime, Saraswati who is also the Johor MIC Women's Chief said that she will go all out to focus on youth development issues, including problems faced by housewives, and in the agriculture sector.
"My offers range from education, welfare and development through skill training. Other issues to be looked into are better internet connectivity and more youth activities.
