Mukim Tanah Putih Chief, Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahman added so far five houses belonging to the Tersang villagers have been washed away by floods yesterday.

"What is happening here is shocking. There could be more homes that have been washed away," he said.

"For now, I can’t do an inspection yet as the situation in this area is dangerous. Plus, the current is strong with up to 3 meters of water,” he said.
