E-commerce was the saviour for many businesses during the pandemic. For the agriculture industry, local farmers had to embrace the new way of selling fresh produce online.

With the huge decline in demand due to movement restrictions and closure of food outlets, restaurants and hotels, E-petani stepped in to farmers to distribute and increase their sales.

This online platform has since grown, expanding over four outlets across Klang Valley where they store and sell fresh products delivered from its farm in Cameron Highlands.

For customers, ordering fresh products online is super convenient but the work that goes behind in ensuring the quality of the products remain fresh from farm to doorstep, is a story on its own.
