SHAH ALAM: What's in a name? For an unknown candidate in Perikatan Nasional, it may be enough to create confusion in the Johor polls.
Mahathir Iskandar Muhammad is one of the candidates in Kukup seat where Pejuang's candidate Zamzam Hashim will also be contesting.
PN comprising of Bersatu, PAS and Gerakan has also announced they will be contesting in all 56 state seats. Ex-Johor menteri besar Dr Sahruddin Jamal will be contesting at Bukit Kepong seat while Bersatu associate deputy chief Chong Fat Full will be contesting in Tangkak. Chong, a former PKR member won the Pemanis seat in 2018.
The announcement was made by PN chairman Muhyiddin Yassin.
