SHAH ALAM - Umno Vice President and former Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin has made it clear he would not contest in the upcoming Johor state elections.
In a Facebook post earlier today, Khaled said he had made the decision without any hesitation.
"This is a decision that I made without hesitation and calmly. We all must work hard and diligently so that BN will continue to lead in Johor,'' he said.
Earlier in the day, Mohamed Khaled told Berita Harian that we would not be contesting in the state polls or that he would even offer himself to do so.
